Changes to the GHS Classification of Copper Containing Pigments

In January 2014, the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) classification of copper (Cu) changed triggering a change in the classification of printing inks and coatings containing copper-based pigments >2.5% copper.   The European Printing Association document describing this change in classification and its impact on printing inks is available in the NAPIM members area.   Please contact the NAPIM office if you have any questions.
